Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Friends of King’s
We would be delighted if you could join us for an evening of fun and festivities to celebrate half a century of community at KCS.
We are thrilled that the school has generously allowed us to host our celebration with parents and staff on site in the summer marquee so that we can all come together at the heart of the school.
The evening will include a champagne reception, delicious bowl food, a world-class DJ, live music acts and both a live and silent auction packed with incredible money-can’t-buy lots.
Our musical line-up includes BASS, a blend of a meticulously-crafted DJ live set with a sensational selection of vocalists, a saxophonist and a percussionist – promising high-energy dance floor fillers across the genres. BASS will be followed by DJ Asad, who is one of London’s most sought-after DJs with residencies at The Box (London/ NYC), Annabel’s, The Cuckoo Club and 10AK (NYC/ Dubai).

Our 50th Anniversary fundraising is focused on supporting the refurbishment of the school sports pavilion which is enjoyed not only by pupils in the entire school across all year groups but also plays host to staff and the Friends; a truly universal resource!

What are the timings?
The event will start at 7pm with carriages at 12.30pm
What food is at the event?
The fantastic Vanilla Bean catering company will be serving a variety of substantial canapes and delicious bowl food over the course of the evening, as well as dessert and cheese grazing tables to keep you energised into the night! While it is served standing, the volume arranged is comparable to that of a sit down meal, so there is no need to eat beforehand.
What are the drinks available?
The luxury lifestyle brand The Plum Edit has generously sponsored a champagne reception for the gala. We have a group of excellent mixologists from The M bar who will be serving a delicious range of KCS and 50th themed cocktails available to purchase. We will also have beer, wine and champagne available to purchase and, of course, excellent zero alcohol options.
What is the dress code?
Summer glamour! For women, cocktail dresses, summery evening dresses, anything that makes you feel fabulous and ready for an evening of summer fun. For men, this will likely translate to chinos, shirts and blazers, but all glamourous additions are warmly welcomed!
Is there seating?
While the event is not a sit down meal format, we have poseur tables with stools available for those that need a break at any point. That said, with the amazing music line up the committee has planned, this may not be in demand – bring your dancing shoes!!
Can I pay in cash on the evening?
The evening is cashless, please bring a card or your phone to pay at the bar.
Can I still buy tickets?
